Singer Whitney Houston died at 48, and this is the time to remember Ofra's love to her.

Many times in her career, when Ofra was asked who are her favorite singers, Whitney Huston was one of them. On the documetry The Life and Death of Ofra Haza says Wally Brill, who produces Shaday, that when he asked Ofra what is she listening to, she answered: "Whitney Huston. The greatest singer in the world".

On 1995 interview on Layla Gov with Gidi Gov, Gov was amused at the thought that Ofra was invited to ceremonies with the greatest singers in the world, and asked Ofra: "you sit to the table, and you say: 'Whitney, pass me the salt, please?'

In 1998 Ofra recorded the theme song for Price of Egypt soundtrack. Whitney and Mariah Carey recorded When You Believe to the soundtrack of the movie.
